MudPond Farm first opened a butchery in 2018. We process beef, pork, lamb and goat. We offer a number of smoked speciality items produced on site (samples always available for tasting). 

As of June 10, 2023 we have a USDA federal of inspection which allows farmers to sell individual cuts anywhere and to anyone. If you need an appointment call and we will see to it that you get in within 30 days maximum. We also offer as part of this service a custom label with you farm name/logo for your packaging.

We offer extended carcass hanging time for those who desire it. We typically like to see beef age two (2) weeks before cutting. Some beef should be cut sooner. We can discuss those details with you at time of processing. 

All cuts and ground are vacuum sealed. In our experience twist seal bags leak and do not keep as long as vacuum sealed pouches nor do they stack as neat and compact as do vacuum packed burger does. Once you try it, you won’t want anything else!
